For the avid cyclists, there’s the Amstel Gold Race, which you can cycle all year round! As a passionate cyclist, you’ll surely want to experience the famous Dutch cycling race. This 75-kilometer tour version takes you through Maastricht, so you can easily start from The Green Elephant Hostels. Along the way, you’ll pass picturesque Sint Geertruid, Noorbeek (voted the most beautiful village in Limburg), and Slenaken, ultimately finishing at the Cauberg in Valkenburg.
